Service Description

A freediving pool, also known as a dive tank or apnea pool, is a swimming pool specifically designed for practicing freediving, which is a form of underwater diving that relies on breath-holding rather than the use of breathing apparatus. Freediving pools are typically deeper than regular swimming pools, ranging from 3 meters (10 feet) to 5 meters (16 feet) or more in depth. They also often include platforms or ledges at various depths to allow divers to rest or practice specific skills. The pools are usually equipped with safety features such as underwater mirrors, underwater communication systems, and safety divers or lifeguards trained in freediving rescue techniques. These features ensure the safety of the divers and enable them to properly train and improve their breath-holding capabilities, underwater swimming techniques, and relaxation skills. Freediving pools are used by both recreational and competitive freedivers to practice and train for various disciplines within freediving, such as dynamic apnea (underwater -holding), and depth diving. They provide a controlled and safe environment for divers to push their limits and improve their performance. Ready to learn and dive in, but not comfortable with extreme depths?
